The University Center for the Child and the Family (UCCF) was created by the University of Michigan in 1988, to provide quality child and family mental health services at affordable rates. Since that time, the costs of operating the Center have significantly increased, forcing us to raise our minimum client fees. While our sliding scale continues to be very generous, many families struggle to pay even our lowest fee. Fundraising is crucial to support ongoing, and needed, services for lower income families. To assist these families, the Family Assistance Fund was created in 1995. The Fund helps to provide scholarships to families facing financial hardships. 100% of gifts to the Fund are tax deductible as gifts to the University of Michigan.

Our goal remains to serve all families, regardless of their financial status. Please consider a gift of any size to help these families.

  • Or donate online directly to the UCCF Family Assistance Fund in four easy steps! This feature is made available through the University of Michigan's online giving program.

  • Kroger Community Rewards Program (informational flyer)
    • If you are a Kroger shopper, and have a Kroger Rewards card (or would be willing to get one), every time you shop at Kroger 5% of your purchase will be donated to the FAF. These contributions are made entirely by Kroger. See the informational flier for more information.
