The Strong Moms Strong Girls (SMSG) program is an innovative community
resource committed to providing girls with the tools needed to navigate conflict
constructively, allowing them to form strong healthy friendships and peer support.
SMSG also provides mothers, caretakers, community educators and mentors with the
knowledge and tools they need in order to help these young women meet this social
challenge. The program is a collaborative effort between the University Center for the
Child and Family and the Junior League of Ann Arbor.
SMSG services include mother-daughter workshops, community presentations, and
school consultations.
