Strong Moms Strong Girls was developed in 2006 by UCCF to promote healthy female relationships between girls and the important adults in their lives with the generous support of a grant from the Junior League of Ann Arbor.
The Strong Moms Strong Girls (SMSG) program provides girls in grades 4 - 7 with the tools needed to challenge relational aggression. Relational aggression is the use of exclusionary and/or hurtful behaviors to undermine another person’s self-esteem or group status, causing harm to relationships. By teaching girls how to navigate conflict constructively, SMSG aims to help them form strong, healthy friendships and support systems during these often difficult years.
The official site for the Strong Moms Strong Girls program is www.StrongMomsStrongGirls.org.
